You know that feeling when someone actually hears what you said? Not just waiting for their turn to talk, but really listening?

Most people have no idea that’s even available in casual conversation. They think it’s reserved for therapy or deep friendships or… I don’t know, after years of knowing someone.

It’s not.

Real conversation is a skill you can learn. And this dinner is where you practice it – with strangers, no less.

Not the “where are you from, how long in Bali” kind of conversation. The kind where you’re actually present. Where you say something and someone mirrors it back and something in you relaxes because… wait, they really heard me.

You’ll learn a couple of simple Authentic Relating tools (mirroring, sharing impact – you’ll get it when you’re here). Have conversations that feel different from the usual social dance. Share good food with people who are just as curious and new to this as you probably are.

No weird pressure to go deep or be profound or healed.
Just practice being available to what’s actually happening. See what’s possible when you stop performing and start connecting – even on a random Friday night in Canggu.

“Coming from a extremely varied background (that includes captaining sailing boats, traveling in remote areas, and living with families of Natives Americans)…I’ve spent years teaching people how to relate to each other, how to be more of themselves, how to connect without the performance most of us are all so used to.

Authentic Relating, Internal Family Systems, a lot of curiosity about what’s actually happening between us…this is the essence of what I share.

I came to this work because surface-level everything is not really part of my nature. The small talk, the masks, the way we all pretend we’re fine when we’re not. That’s not what allows my heart to feel alive and connected with others (and I assume I’m not alone here).

I care about curiosity, compassion, and people having the courage to show up as they actually are. Not who they think they should be. This dinner is an opportunity available to people who might not even know it’s possible yet or need an intentional container to feel more at ease.
