From Surviving to Living: How to Stop Running From Yourself
April 2 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Free

Most of us don’t realize we’re in survival mode. We call it ambition, or staying busy, or just the way life is. But there’s a difference between going through the motions and actually living your life — and most high-achieving people have been in the first category for so long they’ve forgotten what the second one feels like.
Clara Ritger knows this from the inside. After years of building a successful film business in New York City, she could no longer ignore that her body was breaking down. A decision to “see the world before she died” led to a complete dismantling of the life she had built — and the discovery of a way to live that wouldn’t kill her.
This workshop is about what healing from burnout and chronic illness actually looks like: becoming present to your experience of life, finding your purpose, and letting go of the script that was handed to you.
Attendees will be invited to reflect on their own experiences, and guided through meditation, somatic practices, and journaling prompts that will help bridge the gap between surviving and living. Attendees will leave with clarity about how to stop running from themselves, and instead embody their purpose.
